Local lore also claims Jackson was a rabid consumer of lemons, believing them to be a cure for his dyspepsia. Although not mentioned outright, Jackson does make an extremely complimentary remarks about some lemonade which may be considered an allusion to this.
If you want Die Hard, Part XXIV then this most definitely will not be a film to your liking. If you are a student of history and enjoy depth and exposition, give this a try. It is not nearly as strong an entry as Gettysburg was, but well worth the time. Surely a blu-ray which won’t see dust on my shelf.

If this film had solely focused on the Fredericksburg campaign, cut out the overblown dialogue, it’s quasi view on slavery and race, and not try to turn it into the Stonewall Jackson show; it could have been pretty decent.
